The Govynn Kernewek Award. Every year the Cornwall Film Festival commission a film to be made in the Cornish language. This year's winners receive £5000 to produce their Cornish language film, as well as additional in kind support from the festival board. The finished film is screened at a premier event at the following years Festival. Don't panic, you do not have to speak Cornish to be eligible for this award, translators can be commissioned and used to interpret your script from English to Cornish.
