About UsThe DPN Members NetworkThe Network brings together individuals and small businesses working in ICT and digital industries in Cornwall. We are web developers, technical experts, designers, trainers, managers and programmers - and we welcome anyone for whom digital technology is central to their work. The DPN CentreAt the Centre in Penzance, members can use high end professional computer equipment and software, make use of our broadband connection and network with other members. Several of our members have based their micro-businesses at the Centre before moving on to their own premises. Members of the network get acces to advertising through our Online Directory of ICT and Digital Media Businesses on this site. Members also get the chance to be featured in our newsletter and to promote their businesses in various ways at our many seminars, and networking events. Training At The DPN Digital Peninsula Network (DPN) is working in partnership with training providers throughout Cornwall to offer ICT and Digital Media businesses, based in Cornwall, access to the best training available. Whatever the nature of the training you require DPN will work with your business to identify and source the best training to suit your needs. What we offer 1. Free advice – We can offer free advice about your options for skills training. 2. Free training plans – We can arrange for a training needs adviser to visit your business and put together tailored Training Needs Assessments for both individual members of staff and the business as a whole.3. Financial support - We can offer free or subsidised training for you or your staff on a wide variety courses. If you have any training requirements or a specific course that you would like to attend let us know – we may well be able to offer you funding towards the cost. As the ICT sector representative organisation for Cornwall, DPN is working with training providers to develop new courses to keep up with the fast changing nature of ICT and digital media. If your company requires training that may not be available through mainstream providers, let us know. We will work with the colleges to enhance the curriculum enabling Cornish businesses to keep up to date with the ever changing nature of technology.
